Terroride "A Classic Reimagined"

Maybe we just need to contact Brian C. Record, the photographer, and hope he has a good memory.

Not a bad idea.

The Bill Tracy project seems to be back!

Here's the full text that accompanied the Lost Dutchman car picture:

Quote:The "Coffin Car" used in Trimper's Haunted House has always been thought of as a one-of-a-kind application with a truly unique car body, but that has recently changed thanks to a discovery by Wayne Bahur, Principal Partner and Founder of The Bill Tracy Project.

In 1963, an attraction called "Lost Dutchman Mine" made its debut at Legend City in Phoenix, Arizona and included a Hush-Puppy ride system with a very familiar car body. Check out this view of the front of the mine-themes cars, and this view of the rear of the car. My friends, this is a Haunted House car body without the applied ornate decorations, somewhat of a prototype of the masterpiece to be designed only one year later!

Looks like we've found a third example of these cars.

With all the talk about Bill Tracy lately. I came across this article today that I thought several here might really enjoy. It's of a kid with a passion and his work in restoring a Bill Tracy Dark Ride Car.

The facade of that ride is so awesome. It's depressing that it's gone. I hope the kid eventually builds some track and props to go with that dark ride car!

There's a huge update to the Terroride page on the wiki in honor of the grand opening/anniversary celebration today. Terroride is now the second biggest ride page after Cannibal.

Anybody know of anything that's been removed from Terroride to add to the list on the wiki page?

Awesome. The gorilla was one of the last scenes, at least when it was removed. And the alien that replaced it has been removed also.
