Lagoon Recreation

IMPORTANT UPDATE - GO TO PAGE 2

Alright everyone, this is a recreation of Lagoon that I'll be dinking around with off and on for the next little while. I don't intend for it to use fancy custom scenery/rides but rather for it to be a "Chris Sawyer-fication" of the park that's roughly the same quality as RCT2's Real Parks scenarios because I find a more barebones aesthetic to be more charming.

I also intend for this to be a fully playable scenario rather than just a custom park. I'm not entirely sure what some good objectives would be yet, so ideas for that would be great. Only one shot so far, but that will change. See if you can guess the area:

Of course it's a bit rough and bland as there's no terraforming, fences, lamps, etc. in yet, but once again, that will change. More to come!

Another update, this is what the parking lot area looks like with Roller Coaster added in:

Ignore the single path leading to the map's edge and the funky way the rest of the paths are laid out, the scenario didn't want to save otherwise.

Anyone know if there's a way to force-save a scenario without making a path to the map's edge?

Not that I'm aware of, but that shouldn't be a problem. Just have a road on the outside to represent Lagoon Drive. Smile

Sounds good!

Question for you all, does anybody have some good photos of the midway facing toward the park entrance? It's been a while since I've been to lagoon so my memory is a bit sketchy, and I can't find any good photos.

Is there something in particular you're looking for?

Just facing toward the park entrance pretty much, but from varying distances would be nice, between the start of the first garden looking thing and the second one (the two that have the goodies stall between them)

I've only found in the gallery that faces the entrance. I'll post one facing away from the entrance too because I hope it helps. Smile
