Latest Carousel Candy / Peacock Parlour construction update photo from Lagoon. Lagoon did respond to a comment on their post about this of a big reveal coming later regarding the upstairs area. Will be interesting to see what it will be for.

One of the fun things about having over 20 years of photos of Lagoon is seeing memories pop up in Onedrive of stuff that happened at Lagoon. This image is from Feb 5, 2008, and it shows the construction progress going on for the upcoming OdySea ride that would debut later that year.
A new week is upon us, so that means new specials at the Biergarten. Here is what they have this week (Feb 4 - Feb 8)
Appetizer Trio Fried pickle chips, buffalo wings, and mozzarella sticks
Mashed Potato Bowl Mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and corn. Topped with country gravy and cheddar cheese
Biscuits and Chili Biergarten chili with beans with two warm biscuits
Apple Blossom Warm apple blossom pastry with vanilla ice cream
Coconut Cream Pie
Lagoon’s Biergarten is currently open Tuesday - Saturday from 11am - 8pm.

I’m pretty sure this picture from Lagoon confirms there will be an upper area to the new Carousel Candy and Peacock Parlour building. This is the center of the building that connects the two shops together. I’m curious if this will provide off-midway seating for those enjoying their ice cream.

Meatball Sub Meatballs smothered in marinara sauce with provolone and Parmesan cheese on a Tuscan hoagie bun. Served with a side of potato chips.
Philly Cheesesteak Thinly sliced beef steak and melted provolone cheese with onions and peppers on a Tuscan hoagie bun. Served with a side of potato chips.
Ham and Cheese Melt
Smoked ham and three melted cheeses on a Tuscan hoagie bun. Served with a side of potato chips.
*Option to substitute chips for fries.
Ham Special Sliced smoked ham with mashed potatoes and broccoli and a pork gravy. Served with a dinner roll.
Strawberry and Banana Pudding Parfait Vanilla-wafer crust, layered with banana pudding. Topped with whipped cream, strawberries and vanilla wafers.
The Biergarten is open Tuesday - Saturday every week from 11am - 8pm. The Biergarten will be open until 9pm on Feburary 1st for a live music performance.

Weekly Biergarten Update from Lagoon:
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 1st when yet another fantastic band will play live at the Biergarten! CryWolf, specializing in classic rock hits from the ‘60s - ‘90s, will be playing at the Biergarten February 1st from 6pm - 9pm.
In the meantime, the chef has whipped up some tasty specials that will surely keep you satisfied.
This Week’s Specials (Jan 21 - Jan 25):
Fillet Mignon 6 oz fillet topped with mushroom gravy. Served with a baked potato, vegetable medley and a dinner roll.
Salmon 6 oz salmon fillet with rice pilaf and asparagus. Served with a dinner roll.
Chicken Schnitzel Crispy chicken topped with Biergarten mushroom gravy. Served with French fries.
Raspberry Chocolate Cake Chocolate cake topped with fresh raspberries, raspberry drizzle, and whipped cream.

Lagoon’s schedule for 2025 is now live at LagoonPark.com. Looks like Lagoon will open for the 2025 season on March 22!

Lagoon shared more pictures of the work in progress on the New Carousel Candy and Peacock Parlour. I believe the building with the domed roof areas will be Peacock Parlour. The photo inside looks to be Carousel Candy. Not sure where the stairs will end up. The new buildings are looking awesome.
Lagoon has announced the third ride coming to the new District area in Pioneer Village: Rivets and Rotors. This ride is the Helicopters ride from Kiddieland being rethemed and moved to the new area for 2025, so it looks like the rumors were true that Helicopters was being moved.
Do you remember Rocket Guy? I stumbled across this graphic of Rocket Guy in my files today trying to find a different image. He was the mascot Lagoon used in 1999 to go with their new ride, Rocket. Rocket Guy appeared in promotional commercials and could be seen walking around the park.
This popped up in my feed today, so I thought I would share in case anyone was interested in auditioning for Lagoon’s 2025 entertainment.
I was looking over some of the comments on Lagoon’s Facebook page regarding the construction progress of Carousel Candy. Someone noticed the stairs photo and asked about it. Lagoon’s response is interesting. Is it possible we will see a second level?
Lagoon has shared additional pictures to their Facebook page showing continued work going on the new Carousel Candy store and Peacock Parlour ice cream shop. It is really nice seeing Lagoon sharing the construction progress of these two new shops, and it looks like they are putting a lot of work into the new building. I can’t wait to see the finished product in 2025!
